The Young Women's Society is a multifaceted club that aims to enact political, social, and economic change within the community. Founded in 2022, YWS was designed to be a safe space for young women across the city to discuss their thoughts, fears, and frustrations as young women in an ever-changing society. The club was built to empower, educate and advocate for the young women within NYC. Using community service, hard work, training, and sodality as the foundation upon which the society was built. YWS aims to give back to the community while continuing to break barriers for women across the city.

In the YWS community and aiding our fellow man is just as important as our own personal success. At YWS we teach young women the meaning of giving back through fundraisers, self ran drives, and volunteer work to better the community and those who live within it. 

In addition, education and empowerment are part of our vision. We feel an educated woman is a force of nature. We find it important to educate our members not only about the challenges and dangers they may face as women within the big apple but also to show them possible jobs they never realized were options. By educating ourselves on the potential challenges and opportunities then we can be prepared for anything the professional world may throw at us. YWS is proud to say we have amazing spokeswomen who come in and speak to the participants about their professions, and what the workforce was like for them. In addition, we have dedicated volunteers who come in and teach various skills like coding and construction so that not only are new passions developed but new skills are also obtained. 

Lastly, YWS believes in being the change you wish to see in the world. We join political events, run campaigns, and organize marches to affect change within our city, state, and national government.
